Stuff Going On

I'm having major financial issues. My mom pays for my tuition, my rent, and gives me money for groceries. However, the money for groceries goes towards my credit card bill. I use my credit card to buy groceries and to get gas for my car. Lately my bill has been higher, even though I've been cutting back a lot. There was very little in my bank account to begin with, and now it's so low that I'm absolutely terrified. This is my final year of college and if I have no money, how will I be able to start paying off my loans and move out to California for work? I'm a video major and that's where the work is. I would like to be able to get a part-time job but the thing is that I don't have time for one. My major requires so much of my time. I have classes starting around 9 A.M. and they usually finish around 5 P.M.Then, I have meetings with the groups I film with. I'm required to work with these groups for class so there is no way I can cut one out of the picture. These meetings start around 7 and can go to as late as 11 P.M.. After my meetings I stay up late to do my work for my online class. The only time I would be able to work would be the times when I sleep, which I can't do unless I want to fail my classes and do a horrible job on the films I'm working on. This would mean that I would never get recommended when it comes to working in the real world. I've been trying to work on my artwork so I can sell it online. I know of people that would pay for it, but there's no way I'd be able to make enough money off that. It would temporarily help with the bills, but not in the long run. I'm at a loss what to do.

Whats it Mean ?

  • meg005, there is a way for you to become stable in your financial situation again. Financial concerns worry many.
  • Get rid of your unwanted or unused items. Everyone has items here and there that they don't use anymore. Take just a few minutes out of the day to find things around your home that you could sell. Other people's junk, is someone else's treasure. List it online for sale.
  • Save the environment and recycle. Those aluminum cans can come to good use for someone with financial issues. The next time you have cans, recycle them at your local recycling center for some extra money. It will help you out a little bit.
  • Talk to a counselor at your school about job opportunities. Counselors understand that school schedules can be hard to manage when you also want a job. Your school might have open jobs on campus. This can help you pay off your loans or put a little extra cash in your pocket. Most of the time they will be willing to work with your
  • schedule.
  • Perhaps you could find a job where you could still study adn work. For example, babysitting or a third shift job where you can stay awake and study while working.
