I have a phobia of hair. I have to check everything, and make sure that it doesn't have any loose hair on it. I checked my towel, and it was clean that I saw. Then when I was drying after my bath I noticed a piece of hair, and now I can't get in my mind that I am clean. Like, I feel that, that one piece of hair has completely contaminated me. I don't know what to do. I have cleaned myself again, but I just can't shake it that I am clean. I am having panic attacks from it and all. I don't know how to get in my head I'm clean. What can I do?

- MDD1994, phobias are sometimes difficult to deal with.
- You could try to find some healthy calming techniques. (ex: breathing exercises or meditation). These could be helpful if you feel a panic attack beginning.
- You may be able to speak with a counselor at your college about what is going on.
- It may be helpful to find a way to better deal with your phobia.
- You might be able to focus on something else instead.
