Ive been raped 3 times. I’ve tried to kill myself a lot and tried to hurt people. I am thought to have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mood disorders. I have been moved around a lot. I was in foster care for 5 years. I runaway a lot and do a lot of stupid stuff. I am going through a lot.

- lizaboo97 you are not alone and the bad things that have happened to you are not your fault.
- Being a rape victim can be very difficult to deal with, but you can overcome what has been done to you and lead a healthy and productive life.
- Running away or trying to kill yourself are not the answers. If you feel like hurting yourself or others please call 1-800-422-4453
- You may want to consider speaking with a therapist or someone you trust (teacher, foster parent, friend, religious leader, etc...) about your problems and how you are feeling.
- If there is no one you trust to talk to you may want to consider keeping a journal. Writing things down can help you work through your feelings and help you overcome your past.
- You should also consider finding constructive things to do with your time. Things that you enjoy, that will help keep you out of trouble, such as sports, academic clubs, community organization, and so on.
- If you have been officially diagnosed with the disorders you listed please be sure you are getting the help you need and complying with treatment.
