This one kid at school that I thought was my friend who is always bothering me, today especially. When I was walking out of class, he was walking in and pushed all my books to the floor. At that moment, I was really mad and super embarrassed. I refused to pick them up and insisted that he had to since it was his fault, but he didn't. My other friend in his class picked it up for me even though I told her she shouldn't have. Then he just acted all macho or whatever and I left, feeling really embarrassed and also very upset. I'm not sure what to do when I see him next. What should I do?

- laadedaa, it is understandable that you were hurt and embarrassed by this.
- It is always best to tell your teacher or a trusted adult about a form of bullying.
- When you see him next, you could ask him why he has been acting this way, and you should tell him that you do not like it. Make sure he knows how it makes you feel, and you would like him to stop.
- If he continues to do so, you may want to tell him that you do not know if you can be friends with someone who does not respect your feelings. You can even write down some of your thoughts before you speak to him so you know what you want to say.
