I`m depressed. I have been alone my entire life. I have had best friends, but they always leave. During my ninth grade year, I left the house only for school. Yesterday I lost my best friend of nine months since the tenth grade. I`m tired of losing people.

- Fakesmiliejoshua, it is hard to lose close friends. Many people can lose friends for a variety of reasons such as: people moving far away, people passing away, disagreements with others, or gaining different friends.
- You could talk to a counselor about your depression. Perhaps they could give some advice on how to repair some of the relationships you have lost or help you find ways to cope with your depression. Also, try writing down how you feel about the loss of your friends.
- It might be a good idea to talk to your parents. It is possible they have gone through similar situations and could give you advice on how they handled it. Try discussing particular friends that have hurt you the worst with their departure.
- Try to keep in mind you cannot control how people will change or behave toward you. Consider finding more friends at your school or in your neighborhood. As you begin your adulthood, life may not be what you expect it to be. Try to think of this as a learning experience and preparation for many new life experiences to come.
